i) They delayed the aeroplane , did they ?

j) He has got to leave at once , hasn’t he ?

k) You will have some more tea , won’t you ?

l) You had a seminar yesterday , didn’t you ?

m) They don’t act like that , do they ?

1) An affirmative statement has a negative tag .

2) A negative statement has an affirmative tag .

3) Helping (auxiliary ) verbs are repeated in the  tag .

4) Other verbs ( Ordinary verbs or full verbs ) have do , does in the present , and did in the past.

5) Question – tag for an imperative is made by shall or will , the tag may be positive or negative .
