Secondary English

1) It is used for general statments and general facts .

For examples :

- The world is round.

- School students are present .

- The Earth is round .

2) It is used to express everyday activity (habitual activities ).

For examples :

- I wake up at 7 O'clock .

- I walk for two hours every week .

3) Some adverbs : often , always , usually,... etc are usually used with the simple present :

For examples :

- You sometimes look happy.

- She often plays piano.

- I usually take a bus.

Remember :

I / we / you / they live work watch do

he / she / it lives works watches does

I work in a shop.	It rains a lot in winter.
She watches TV every night.	Tim works very hard.
