Suddenly they came, the sharks.  We had arranged to encounter them at this remote reef in the Red Sea and waited impatiently.  This time though they did not appear cautiously in twos and threes as usual to find out who or what we were.  No, at least twenty of them came swimming upcurrent like a pack of wolves heading for the bait we held in our hands.  All at once a pack of hungry.  Two meter – long sharks were excitedly swimming around us, the situation was out of our control.  Terrified, I pulled a knife to protect myself.  Before I had time to blink, a big beast had swum between my legs, torn the bag of fish out of my hands and disappeared.
